Of course, the most important reason to shop at our
Thrift Store is that all of the sales profits help animals
in need. And, many of our regular customers tell us that The
Humane Society Thrift Shop is their favorite thrift store
for other reasons too. We're always being told that we have
the most helpful staff and REALLY GREAT, COOL STUFF!
Whether you need a big screen TV or an evening gown,
chandelier or a lawnmower, our ever-changing inventory is so
varied and interesting that you're sure to find something
great. In fact, many items are new or have never used!
 We
need your donations! Profits from the sale of your donations
go directly to support the shelter to help animals in need.
And ̶ your donations are tax deductible!
Please drop off your good quality, gently used items between
the hours of 9 am ̶ 4 pm, Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri or Sat. (no
drop offs on Wednesday please).
Need large items picked up? We can do it! If you have a
donation that will not fit in a car, such as good quality,
gently used furniture and large appliances or electronics
that are in good working condition, call to arrange a
pickup. Sorry, we no longer accept toys, children's items.
We pick up in the NE and SE sections of town on Wednesdays
and in the NW and SW on Fridays. Please call (352) 732-8424
for further information and to arrange a pick up. Please be
aware that merchandise deemed to be in unsellable condition

 We
greatly appreciate our volunteers and are always looking for
people to help with sorting, pricing, shelving, cleaning,
organizing, researching on line, testing electronics, etc. |
