The Humane Society of Marion County is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and protection of animals in Marion County, Florida. Our mission is to prevent cruelty, suffering and over population of animals through education, housing and financial support.

Sponsor an Animal

Do you wish you could have an animal but circumstances won’t allow you to?

Now you can sponsor the animal of your choice!

The animals at this shelter need your love and support to have clean water, nutritious food, shelter and veterinary care prior to

being placed into a new and loving home.

Animal Sponsor.

You can sponsor as many animals as you like!

* Picture

You will receive a photo of the animal you are sponsoring.

* Certificate

You will receive a certificate with your name and the animals name on it that you are sponsoring.

* The Animals Progress Report

You will receive a monthly progress report on your sponsored animal’s adoption progress as well as an update on their physical & emotional well being.

Get all this for just $25.00 per animal sponsored.

Sponsorship contributions to the Humane Society of Marion County are

tax-deductible (within IRS regulations) and we will provide you with a giving statement for tax purposes at your request.
